For not council, watch Masterchef.
For ultimate council, watch Man vs Food (I'm a tiny bit council! bowtie )
Agreed. From a quick cross section of Facebook friends posting about it, it's council

Why any gentleman should wish to know the details of his food preparation is beyond me.

I like how she just leaves the one kid without even acknowledging him whatsoever, then chucks her other kid down in the seat without even looking either. What a .
That is an oustandingly classy woman and no mistake. Love the fact that she refers to him as being a c**t. Fine parenting skills while the children sit, listen and learn. What a princess.

Absolutely - I'm sick of all these bloody council estates where the feckless morons waste their time raising livestock, growing their own vegetables etc. I blame Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall pandering to the lower orders with his lowest common denominator programming which is clearly aimed at the dregs of society.

Why any gentleman should wish to be ignorant is beyond me.

One should know who to do all the household tasks correctly, how else can you judge if the staff are doing them to the correct standard?

Of course when social housing first started to be built, very generous garden plots tended to be given. The trend being, people really did grow their own veg.

roll back further the typical terrace to a Victorian house, might house small pigs, to be fed on scraps and then slaughtered.

we'd had WW1 and the issues of the supply of food, we learnt again what rationing did in WW2.

Naturally these days, no one knows how to grow anything but weed-s(pun intended), long grass and broken children's toys, scrap cars or dogs on chains ready to eat your children (that's not your fault though).

To even see a tended garden is rare.

To see one with a veg plot- well in 26 years and having visited 10,000's of social rented, private rented and even owner occupiers- I bet I could count less than 10 properties growing their own fruit and veg.

The irony being that I bet most owner occupiers and especially southerners living in bedsits or urban living bks properties would cut their beards off to have properties as large, with such massive pieces of land attached.

perhaps without the broken trampolines though and perhaps less tat from B&M like solar powered gnomes and water features.

today's rant over.

By enquiring of one's house steward surely, or in a smaller household, the butler?
Assuming of course, an issue has arisen requiring personal attention.

I've had fallings out with friends who insist on calling their offspring "little man" or "little princess" especially on social media when they insist on sharing yet another stream of photos of them.

Maybe I just hate parents.
