That sounds educational, so not council.

Quite a tragic story, the guy was autistic and apparently didn't understand how to relate to people in a conventional way or deal with confrontation appropriately. He reacted badly to seeing his son being bullyed and paid with his life.
His method of dealing with confrontation appropriately seems to involve a cosh and knuckle dusters judging from the photos. Still, I don't think he deserves to be on this thread given that he ended up dead.

If any of us actually lived our life by the rules of this thread in an attempt to avoid being council I suspect we'd all be sat around naked in empty houses.
So naturism is definitely NOT council then?

To be fair, it's an open investigation and the implication is that some security guards used the wrong techniques (catastrophically)

Not sure on "full council"?
Shaven-headed thug, getting into a fight at Pontins, that's definitely council.

It may well be that security were at fault for using a poor restraining method - but he got himself into that situation by behaving like a council thug. I'd imagine, by looking at the photos on the DM website, that he was hardly a compliant detainee, too! - will be very interesting to hear the full story.

(I'm assuming they also found all those photos on Facebook, as they really don't paint him in a good light)
Photographed on the bus. Definitely council.

That's great. My favourite comment is this one, genuinely mmc.

I thought this was a classic and possibly a PHer working undercover.

I think thats a shame as 73 looks like its a well looked after house (probably by an older person). But next to it is everything council so they will never be able to sell it.

Pontins is superbly council. A tripadvisor review reads....

I read the reviews before we went so I was a bit prepared what to expect after all it was cheap so didn't expect too much . We went on the 3 night New Years break with friends and family.
It looked like a 1970s council estate and the chalets were very basic and it was certainly not clean I didn't dare look too closely....Our toilet didn't flush and we didn't have a shower in ours but our friends did in theirs?.. don't want to think about the state of the mattresses!!!
We only stayed the 2 nights couldn't bear another night there and we will put it down to an experience but wouldn't book Pontins again!!!
It certainly doesn't look like it has changed since On the buses was filmed there in 73....

I would imagine that most of their previous complaints have resulted in free vouchers or a refund
