I do hope they die in jail and save us the fee to house and feed them. Something involving a home made hammer and nail would be fitting.

We had similar when I worked for a housing association.
A tenant who had applied for a transfer and due to her record of debts and neglected house had no chance of getting a move so she came up with the idea that her house was haunted and was therefore uninhabitable. This claim was rejected at 'sensible' level but when she complained to senior management, they caved 'to avoid adverse publicity'.
Sure enough, within the next few months we had another 6 reports of hauntings from skanks who were desperate to move into a cleaner house.

You need to watch the video to fully appreciate the pickle this plucky Geordie snake enthusiast go himself into.

Council points to note here:

In court.
Cigarette behind ear.
Snakes
Bookies
Dixie Chicken
Casually racist - or ignorant. Either way, council.
1980s Hooligan-style white buttoned-up polo shirt.
A Geordie.

Two snakes!

“My snake was seized and I had to go and buy a new one two days later. That is £135 gone in one day, and then £200 the next time. Ridiculous.”

Ridiculous indeed.

Is there another level beyond (or below?) council?? Either way this qualifies... apparently she is a "celebrity".

I just love the logic. so you don't need a snake, you're on benefits and have no money. so snake A goes. I know, I need another snake I can't afford. That's my prime objective today, above and beyond everything.

its hardly like: my tyre burst on my car, so I had to buy another tyre otherwise I couldn't drive my car.

priorities, priorities........

I just don't understand what causes it.

"I'm skint and relying on money from elsewhere, so I'd better buy a snake."

What solution or benefit does that offer to any problem he may have?

You're making the mistake of thinking rationally and sensibly, whereas he is undoubtedly an uber-council fkwit.
