Angry dad - check

Videoing police doing their job - check

Picking daffodils off council land - check checkity check
"I pay their wages" comment - check
Mansfield.
Although on reflection, said comment is the mark of any jumped up, self important tosser of all social groups. So not council.

Rover 75, inflated idea of own self importance, videos everything, trots out the " I pay your wages" line, guarantee he is a member on here.

Based on what you prat, don't own a Rover 75 or video everything, nor would I trot out trite nonsense like that dick did but feel free to carry on making assumptions that make you look even dafter than your posts.

I own a Rover 75. Are they council now? It does only get used to take the dog for walks and running things to the dump. Does that make my dog council?

How do we feel about purple hair. Not blue rinse but purple hair? Or turquoise?

Instantly I see it I start to assume a bit council, but then I think each to their own. But I unfortunately came home to find the OH had just had hers done council crimson. I wasn't happy but hid my feelings as its her hair, but now she is going to turquoise. I've grown to like the purple, really not that bad but when I do see it around it still makes me think its a bit council.

There is nothing I can think of to say to change her mind, nor should I, but gah its like I went to bed living in a respectable family but now I'm lined up for an episode of Jeremy Kyle.

What breed is the dog? Where/how did you acquire the dog? Did you select the breed after carefully balancing the dogs' traits with your lifestyle before vetting the breeder and purchasing said dog? Did you decide to visit the local rescue centre and choose the one with the happiest persona or saddest eyes?

Or is the dog 90% teeth and you bought it off a bloke in a flat roofed pub for £20 'cos it'll be great with the kids?

It's indicative of some sort of Bi-polar, borderline personality disorder, social anxiety type. I made that mistake a few years back when I was on dating sites - I wrongly assumed that girls with a few piercings, tattoos and green/blue/purple hair were a bit edgy (experimental/filthy), but no, they are all, without exception, batst crazy and emotionally damaged.

Not sure about council, but definitely stay-away material.

He is a Golden Retriever called Bollinger rather than a pitbull named Tyson. He was bought from Lord and Lady Bolton of Bolton Castle, Caste Bolton in Yorkshire. He is the son of a Field Trial Champion and Harry Bolton's gundog. He is great with the kids.

Do blokes in flat roofed pubs do working pedigree golden retrievers at all, as I'm looking for a puppy at the moment?

I really don't like bright, unnaturally coloured hair. I'm not sure what category it is though

this one has me torn (although I am unashamedly council in many aspects), we are currently acquiring a puppy, a Chow Chow (will be our 3rd, after our last one passed away unexpectedly in June last year) ... but the breed, I would (of course) argue is not council, but fear it may be as it features in many adverts for ITV and also Justin Beiber has one ... I may be on the rocky road to full council-dom

Not council.

My ex used to dye her hair bright purple… goth type so it’s to be expected, I suppose (degree & masters in Archaeology and is working towards a PHD in Numismatics… British coins up to about 1750 IIRC which can surely be the least council subject in the world to study?).

My current missus occasionally dyes her hair bright (ish) red or purple (ish) with the rest of it black: also a goth type and is a professional harpist, classical musician and drives an old V70 (dream cars include MK2 Jags and Volvo Amazon estates). Her old man is a retired GP and is not short of a few quid.

The Council-o-Meter™ barely flickers in her presence.
