I have a consent order drafted by a solicitor friend that I used with a few tweaks. It finalises the distribution of possessions and (hopefully) draws a line under the whole thing closing any further claims. I don't mind sending it over if it helps.
That would be great if you don't mind. Thanks

In that case you'd better not read this one currently running in SP&L.

A workmate of mine supported his wife while she went to law school.

Turns out she only did it to divorce him and ruin him in the process. Left him with nothing.

Once done she stopped being a lawyer.

Many years later and poor bloke is still a wreck.

My divorce cost me nothing, at least in financial terms.
We had no kids, and I owned the house before we met. My wife inherited some money, roughly equivalent to the equity in the house. I kept the house, she kept her money.
She paid the legal fees a few years later.

Holly fk what a mess. Single life has its draw backs but it still way better than ending up in a situation like that.

Oh and the easiest and cheapest divorce is not to get married in the first place.

After reading that I now remember why I am never getting married again.
