Has anybody got any idea how much a garden gate would cost?
Is this quote reasonable?
I'm thinking of building a house, anybody got any tips?
Recommend me a decent bog brush.
Can't quite decide between buying a penthouse in Monaco or an island in the Caribbean...can anyone help?
Garden gates? £50, it's an open and shut case.Is this quote reasonable?

'To be or not to be', that is a reasonable quote.
When I was a waiter, tips were frequent, but none house related.
The 'Poobuster' I believe, is good for getting round the bend.
Here in Monaco, or is it Necker? I can never remember, the constant sunshine you see.

I think it must be some sort of muscle memory thing.
I lost my muscle memory when my beloved moved into the spare bedroom after the kids left home - but all is not lost, I can now fart & snore with impunity. 'Cue...' There's always some fker cuing something on PH.
'Get you into...' E.g. Thirty-two quid and a Twix will 'get you into' an Austin Maestro. No. Using the key to unlock the door then opening it and climbing inside will 'get you into' an Austin Maestro.
'A nice place to be...' FFS it's a car not a luxury beach hotel on a deserted island.

Posters who have clearly not read the thread, and repeat what's already been posted.
Ahem........
You know who you are, well you would if you went back and read this thread before you posted.
..............and nearly every thread on here.
Why do we need an answer repeated 50 times in the same thread. If a question has been answered correctly, there is No need to keep giving the same bloody answer.
"Pull the trigger" is one I really hate, along with "talk to me"
Anyone mentioned those two yet?
What a load of old bks Ahem........

It's a performance car website.
Maybe. I have always seen it more as a car enthusiasts website, obviously a lot of that involves performance cars but not all of it. What of all the excited teenagers wanting advice on their first cars? Few of those will be performance cars. Same with the company car threads.Speaking in derogatory terms to people (like myself) who love driving but don't have a performance car for whatever reason is rather annoying, describing someone's pride and joy as a "white goods car" is just the icing on the cake.

The focus has always been on high performance, driving
and machines that provide it, and that's how it should stay.
Plenty of people who have high performance cars have "normal" cars anyway, so that's covered.
There's nothing wrong with that being the main focus, indeed that's pretty much what I said.and machines that provide it, and that's how it should stay.

The fact is though there a lot of car enthusiasts here who don't have performance cars, yet who love cars and driving, and there's no excuse for them being treated with contempt, which happens more often than it should.
