Was that after after I used "aero delete" to describe an Escort Cosworth without big spoilers ?
It was the official title for such cars.
No, reference to the IOM Subaru thread. It was the official title for such cars.
Looked in my copy of Ford Rallye Sport brochure 1993 Edition one.
Pictured on page 20...." The vehicle illustrated is the Escort RS Cosworth luxury model with the aero-pack deleted."

"Full fat" when describing a specification. "FFRR", in particular, is tttish beyond words.
A thousand times this. It's so cringeworthy, and I've never seen it used so ubiquitously as a generic phrase for "top spec" for any car other than Range Rovers. mph1977 said:

I.e For that money I'd be looking at an E Class....£12k will get you into a 2008 with low miles.
Or people with neighbour issues that they don't know how to address.
Always some wannabe-snob who says 'Why not pop over with a bottle of wine and bring it up over the course of the evening?'
fk off.

Range Rover Sport
Range Rover (nothing)
It is confusing. "What car have you got?" "A Range Rover". "Which one?". "Er, a Range Rover". "Yeah you said. Which one?" "The Range Rover"
Even Land Rover dealers don't know how to refer to Range Rovers of the non-Sport, non-Evoque variety. They often call them Vogues. Which is confusing if you are calling to ask about an Autobiography spec car.
So it is sometimes easier to call them the Full Fat ones.
The term for the marque didn't exist before the introduction of the Sport.
