They want to knock us down 'cause they think we're scum
But we will all be waiting when the bulldozers come
In a neighbourhood like this you know it's hard to survive
So you'd better come prepared 'cause they won't take us alive.
I'm the last house in my village (though only about 200yds from the next one) and the yard looks a little like this (the cars vary in quantity depending on who's about) There is a bonfire pile, lots of brambles and best of all only one neighbour (and his yard makes mine look like the Chelsea Flower Show).
I wish I had this kind'a space. But we will all be waiting when the bulldozers come

Saying that, I'd fill it up quite sharpish I think. :-/

Unfortunately it does fill up at a rather quick rate. Between mates storing cars and mum getting through several sheds in a short period (plus my little fleet) we had 14 vehicles at one point 'living' in the yard! Plus assorted other bits, got a full truck of scrap out of there when we had a clear out a few years back!Saying that, I'd fill it up quite sharpish I think. :-/

Every town and city has one or more of these: The House at the End of Town.
It sits on a large plot. Maybe one of several nondescript houses, often a dormer bungalow.
Renovation and extension work is never quite finished.
In a nearby field are piebald ponies and derelict tractors.
One or two car projects litter the front yard.
What features does your 'House at the End of Town" have?

Was that really worth the effort to type that last comment?
OP here.Thanks for your post.
I'd have thought my original comment was pretty clear that it referred to 'towns' not 'my town.'
Never mind.
I could infer:
Either he does live in a nice town but has never left it.
Or, he does not have English as his native tongue.
I consider this thread to have been somewhat unsuccessful but perhaps many PH-ers are leaving town in a hurry?
