Spotted one on my way through Aylesbury last weekend.
What looked like a Police motorcyclist stopped at the side of the road. Big white bike, panniers, fairing etc. Rider had all the authentic looking gear on - but, on the back of his hi-viz the word 'POLITE'
That's not walty, doing anything that makes motorists pay attention to a motorcyclist is common sense. What looked like a Police motorcyclist stopped at the side of the road. The correct course of action if anyone spots a POLITE biker is to wait for them to pull over for a piss, then politely drop a match in their petrol tank.

"Polite" aside the irrational rage expressed about motorcyclists wanting to be as visible as possible is troubling; maybe reflect on what it says about you?
You have a "polite" vest, don't you? You've been extremely defensive about them in several posts now.hidetheelephants said:

And a normal hi-viz yellow vest won't achieve the same result without "polite" on back because... ?
And you're arguing the toss from a position of ignorance because?hidetheelephants said:

And you're arguing the toss from a position of ignorance because? Also, aren’t you more likely to cause aggression/frustration when people realise they’ve been ‘had’ or fooled by the POLITE writing?

Surely standard hi-viz is equally good.
Also, aren’t you more likely to cause aggression/frustration when people realise they’ve been ‘had’ or fooled by the POLITE writing?
Yeah, that's what most people do think. But I suppose people like elephants need a silly reason to be an edgelord on forums. Also, aren’t you more likely to cause aggression/frustration when people realise they’ve been ‘had’ or fooled by the POLITE writing?

Obviously not a Walt - but I do enjoy the man in the second video putting his hard hat on as if it was likley to make a difference if a crane collapsed on him.
