hmm, long grass under an old Freelander suggests a failure to proceed.
Blacked out rear window suggests the vehicle may simply be a long term, mission critical forward observation post. For all we know the agent could be holed up in the back kept warm only by the month's worth of bagged up excrement. With his wife providing remote support from the trailer?

Poor field craft not to have slipped out to trim the grass though. Would have served as vital nourishment and helped eek out essential supplies.

There's also scant regard for built-in redundancy of large, whippy radio aerials - should be at least two on there.

TBH it looks like the sort of "hood" where you'd want to be in full opsec mode.

Certainly illiteracy is rife. That shop owner can't even spell Preppers!

Of course the possibility that it might be nothing more walty than just the flue from the central heating boiler shouldn't be allowed to interfere with the course of the thread.

But Walt has it directed at the windscreen, to avoid it freezing over, hence a quicker get away should the alarm go off.

It is actually a nice area, just a poorly placed shot.

Best I could get without being spotted by the owner.

Got response vehicle, K9, and dogs stickered all over it.

With matching trailer.

You mis-posted; this should surely be in the 'a bit council' thread.

Also, the NSF tyre looks less all-terrain and more racing slick

Barely a wisp of snow has started falling here in North Oxfordshire and they already appear to be out in convoy on 'patrol'.

Having watched the news over the last couple of days, I was wondering if some sort of international rescue type operation has been launched for those of you in the South of the country who had experienced the shear terror of 1mm of snow.

Just checking. Are you okay? Have the 4x4 heroes been unleashed?

I've read this entire thread 3 times over and it is my favourite thread on PH ever. Pushy morons trying to organise people to the famous one life live it walts.

You've made me cry nearly twice because I've met many characters like this!!

On topic, i live in a village in dorset, while there is no snow there was a chap with a disco 2 handing out business cards at tesco offering to tow people out of ditches as 'we brace ourselves for this storm, know I'm on hand' sucking all the power up ofcourse, I instantly regret not having my phone to take a picture, when I asked if he had previous military experience ofcourse he was happy to chat about being a ex marine and retraining as a electrician, even though he was about 30!!

One life live it guys.
