LoLo Balls - did they even make it as far as a craze?
Deelly Boppers
Hi-Tec Trainers. Nike Air Max in various forms are still about. I had a pair of black and white Classics in 1993 which I loved. Held onto them for 9 years and despite being practically unwearable I still didn't want to throw them away.
Blokes with bleach blonde hair; think mid 90s Gazza et al.
'Funny' car stickers printed in day-glo colours 'Don't follow me; I'm lost too!!!'
The fake plastic fingers on boot lids
Stick-on Garfields
Louvered rear window thingy for cars (usually on Capri's or Cortinas)
Hi-Tec silver shadows are the standard issue military trainer (I believe it may be getting phased out at this time) I nearly purchased a Burberry goodie lookin chain version for around £100 rofl

A few years ago a tornado F3/GR4 turned up at Coningsby with a Garfield in the window the same aircraft had the pilots names on and next to the wing commander in the rears name was an RAF future pilots sticker.

Also- the Levi advert being a platform for the uk chart #1 for all of two songs as Babylon Zoo's Spaceman sounded nothing like anyone thought:

Thank-you for reminding me of this advert. Words cannot express just how much lust I felt for the alien girl in a pair of Levi's and not a lot else; as a 14-yr old, myself and my mate would sit in maths writing messages on my graphic calculator (paper notes being passed back and forth were obvious, but you could get away with sharing text on one of these babies!) about my obsession with her, and his obsession with Mariah Carey (who was, at that time, still the wholesome country girl-next-door type).

Loom bands, couple of years ago they were everywhere.

These were a late '80s flash in the pan.

I'd forgotten all about them, used to have hundreds of the little buggers.

Not really a fad just a technology that didn't take off as well as it should have, mini-discs.

Fashion fad: Mullet hair dos, the perfect accompaniment to rolled up suit sleeves biggrin

PDAs have effectively evolved into mobile phones - the phone and the PDA merged to become one.

Lava lamps are still amazingly cool, because I have one. I wouldn't have one if they weren't cool.
