The neon coloured ''fat willy'' seaside clothing range of leggings, sweat tops, t's and hoodies.

My old gaffer had a sideline selling these. I asked him if they worked and he claimed they will improve your efficiency by 10-15%.
I then asked him why he's not given them to his staff for free as they would suddenly become 10-15% more efficient in the business if the bands actually did anything.
I didn't get an answer!

Is it too early to include fitbits/glorified pedometers? Or are they going to eventually kill off Suunto's and the like?

Which reminds me- calculator watches. You can still buy them I think, but I can't remember the last one I saw!

Ripspeed...I even visited their shop in N London. It was a mecca for any Cherry Bomb/ K&N equipped Fiesta driver.

Also...DIY bleached jeans & tshirts.

Some odd selections on here for what constitutes a "craze" - Ripspeed were going in 1973 (Keith Ripp was a well-known Mini racer) and Peco exhausts were around in the '60s. Boy-racers is nothing new I can assure you.

Seems to be a craze of using those comedy mouths for selfies at the moment.

I bought 6 pairs of assorted unpleasantly multi-coloured socks for 20 quid from their Gatwick departures store a month ago.

Can any oldies confirm if young women were doing duckface in photos before the word "selfie" started appearing?

My brother went to see the globetrotters at the O2 last month. Had a FANTASTIC time, they're still going pretty strong.

I think he means the "Ripspeed" concession in Halfords, rather than the whole company, it was all about horrendous alloys with ditchfinders, "Zorsts", DVD Head units with flip out screens and Bass Cannons/tubes etc, kind of coincided with the Max Power generation.

I was reading some seventies "Hot Car" magazines and they had adverts in there for Ripspeed, all "Deluxe" centre consoles, zoomie pipes, bucket seats and jack up kits for Cortinas, so Max Power boys dad.

They didn't, they smiled.
