Having tried and tried to get a toyo r888 in a 345 rear width here in the UK for months I've found the only way is to import then from the USA oddly. So I'm putting in an order for a few sets so if anyone wants to get a set then let me know in next few days so I can add to the order save us all a bit on postage.

Well I tried Northants but got no call back so I assume no luck there. I'll get on the phone to some of the tyre guys in USA and see what's available. What rear size exactly is it u want Mark 345-30-18?

Yes, so I don't know if there will be much of a saving, I was just trying to help you out with a better shipping package? But if others don't chip in I don't think it's worth me bothering? All depends on how many other uk owners are up for it?

Appreciated, I was thinking to use the r888 for my road trip to spa and Le man's. But I might have a support car that can carry my slicks so I don't have to get another set of tyres. The road tyres are decent enough for a road trip but they just don't give you the needed grip for track. I could feel them giving up in the tight corners at Bedford, and I have a wager to win at spa against a mate and his huracan.

Hope you win Nick, would be good to see some footage posted on youtube, it should be a close race, according to Top Gear the Huracan and Gen V Viper were close if not identical round their track.

As for tyres I just put Michelin PS2's on mine so I'm not in the market for any. £187 for 345/30/19's which I was very pleased with.

Mines a gen 4 acr so not as impressive as the new gen 5 acr. But I have fitted the full bellanger exhaust and mopar pcm so I should have identical if not a little more power than the gen 5 acr. And on slicks I should be as fast or faster really so hoping it is just driver vs driver without the huracan having the edge.

I second the video footage!! ;-)

Did you get the Ps2's from Tyre Leader? Just recall similar price

Is there much of a difference in real life driving between the Ps2's and the Super sports? Wondering if I can justify the extra £100 per tyre or whether its not worth it.

Cheers

I got them from Camskill (ordered 2nd April) however the website now lists them at £243.

Tyre leader are listing PS2's at £136 so they seem a bargain https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres-345-30-19/?...

As for driving differences, I've no idea, but they suit me just fine!
