I noticed watching The Goldbergs recently that the young kid in it (who regularly wears movie-themed T-shirts) was wearing a Revenge of the Jedi T-shirt. I wondered what the backstory was to this so Googled it and saw that it was the original title before being changed.

I'm pretty sure that's not a real trailer and/or was never intended for public consumption.

It's been uploaded by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

It was shown briefly in UK theatres in 1982.

I did too - maybe it's just those of us who are old enough to have been around at the time. Wasn't the argument that they changed from "Revenge" because it was pointed out to them that a Jedi wouldn't seek revenge?
