Hope this is the right thread, if not, please move it.

Has anybody had condensation inside their double glazing fixed rather then replaced.

If so any idea of cost to sort out two patio door double glazing f, both have condensation in.

My son has just moved into his first house, and the patio doors have condensation in them.

As far as I know. These are sealed units so any leaks or condensation inside the glass is a replacement job

Googled a bit and found lots of places who will repair on site, various means etc, so it's possible, some sites say up to 50% of replacing,

Generally having the glass replaced is not all that expensive anyway (you just change out the double glazed glass unit not the frame obviously).

we had three windows done for £120.

If it's been like that for some time then you will have staining and possibly mould inside the unit. It is possible to clear the misting but it means the dessicant which keeps the unit dry is done and it's better long term to get new units installed.

It is my understanding that firms that claim to be able to remove the condensation from DG units only provide a short term solution, and then the problem returns. Once the seals have failed, I think the only real answer is to fit new sealed units. Anything less would probably be a waste of money.

Out of interest, what size and when?

You mentioned patio door units, so they will need to be toughened.
I'm assuming full height units, so you should be able to replace the pair for approx £250 fitted.
I'm also assuming Upvc/alluminium doors.
