Hi All. We are back.Had a year off with an Aston V8 Vantage. Never liked it.Sorry it was far too civilised. So we are back in the TVR fold Where the people are more friendly and not snobbish, with a lovely Paradise Purple 4Ltr Chimaera. My wife wants to clean the centre Console. And I want to stick the leather/vinyl back around the hole that the gear stick comes up from. I remember doing it when we bought our first TVR 16 years ago to do the same thing. But as the years have flown by,the old memory ain't what it was. The main bit I can't get my head round is getting the console over the door opening knob. From my very vague memory there are two black self tapper either side of the console at the front, and one under the small box like tray at the rear.Your help would be very much appreciated. Just so that some of you might remember us,its Dave and Diane Smith. Also you might remember me selling'My other car is a TVR' stickers. The other one was 'TVR still alive still kickin'....No 'G'as Steve Wright says.

Main fixing is as you say in the 'Small change' tray.
Some cars have screws at the front but not all.
The gaiter will be a tight fit over the door knob but you can normally gently stretch it over.
Once clear of the gear lever and hand brake you can disconnect the sub-loom for the window switches and remove the whole section.
