Not seen this in regard to paypal.

This normally refers to the merchant account charges. Bigger business tend to be on interchange plus where there is an agreed margin for the services provided by the merchant account. This makes price comparision easier.

Blended is a more usual rate structure where the merchant account tries their best to make it sound cheap, but you pay for all of the extras in an overall 'blended' rate.

In my opinion, interchange plus is the way to go with a standard merchant account. How this applies to Paypal I don't know.

Thank you for the overview; much appreciated. Yes, I'd not even heard about it - but everytime I login it's asking me to choose. I'll try to find more out.
