Hi Guys.

Can anyone please recommend a good quality dash cam for a Gallardo?

I fancy getting one but I don't know what to buy, so I am putting my faith in the Pistonheads locals to help out.

Cheers.

What has it being for a Gallardo got to do with it?

I want a high end camera, people in this catergory are more likely to have a high end camera, secondly, my next question was going to be the best location to put in a Gallardo.

I wouldn't get that answer in the some forums.

I'd try the windscreen.

You will get more answers in a different area of the site because car model is irrelevant.

Something over 3500 posts about dashcams on this thread : http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

One of them probably has the answer.

I have this one and highly recommend it. It also has speed camera database on it and will warn you of static cameras

I've installed a Mobius on both of our cars, behind the rear view mirror with cable running through the roof lining and down the A-pillar. It's very discrete which was a priority for me. It's completely invisible (even from inside!) on one car, and just barely visible on the other if you know to look for it.
Excellent video quality and lots of settings (although not feature-rich, no screen/GPS/etc).

They're only £50 but you could get it gold-plated?

Lots of mounting options, as I expect a gallardo has a very steeply raked screen.
