There's no question in my mind that William Woollard would like to go for a beer with Alan Partridge.

IMO Partridge episodes shine when they hark back and lean to the 'Lintern' years of style and writing, this was no exception. Utterly fabulous throughout. In a world where dogst such as 'Mrs Browns Boys' is served up on prime time TV, Partridge remains of the very few genuine highlights left in British comedy.

Too many highlights to mention but the drug scenes were so well worked and scripted. As was the "egg in a sock" discussion.

10/10 from me.
