Time has come to replace rears on my 05 SSZ UTE. What do you UTE boys recommend?

I put 245 /40/17 kuhmo's ku39 on my 03 and they worked well , just use the heavy side wall rating , but I did not find ute's as effected by tyre type as the Monaro , they were not that much and gripped well which was important with no tc

This ^^^. Less sensitive to sidewall choice.

Thanks guys. I put these on my Ro and they were fine so looks like that's the way to go. I do like Uniroyal Rainsports but think they will be too soft.

They are...don't buy the uniroyals.
I got some at trade and they are coming off next week and going up for sale..doubt I'll lose and money.
I'm going back to Goodyear f1

If they are XL Rainsports, we have them, and they're very good on the VE Ute. I would say "If they're 245/45-18, give me a shout" but as I already have a spare pair, it will take me years to get through them.

Mine are 235/40x18 so assume any spares that may be available wouldn't fit?

They'd go on Hammo19's car, as there's only a 1.5% difference in the circumference. smile

I guess fitting 18" tyres will be a bit of a struggle then. wink
