I wish there was more action on this thread.
Enjoy a bit of fashion banter.
I went into TK maxx this week and they had some three piece suits with some nice detailing, I didn't buy as jackets were cut very short.
I know it's a current look but i find it looks odd.
Yes, seemingly a trend over the last few years. Makes buying online a bit difficult because with these new shorter cuts, where I'd normally fit a 38S on a jacket. a 38R in this short style will fit ok as well. Often I will have to buy both and return one. Poor people like me don't buy MTM or bespoke. Enjoy a bit of fashion banter.

Our local TK Maxx is rubbish. Very poor selection when it comes to jackets and suits unfortunately. The best TK I've been to in terms of selection is the one in Thurrock. I've mentioned before but their online selection is very good and updated daily.

Bump to see if it will show up after all this time (was showing 404 not found)
Cheers, I couldn't for the life of me get the link to work in the shoes threadA quick question for Fashion Folk.... what are your thoughts on second hand shoes?
I like a good solid handmade British goodyear welted shoe, problem is I don't like paying lots of money for them! So I browse ebay for those in Used condition. I have been able to pick up some really decent Barker, Cheaney and Church shoes and boots, many in mint condition, for very good prices.
These may have been worn a few times, but I can get over the "dead man's shoes" feeling pretty quick if at all, but It means I have gathered a great collection!
My fave finds are a pair of Cheaney ligth brown chukkas worn once and a pair of very lairy patent slip on Barkers to wear with my dinner suit!

Has anyone tried the M & S made to measure shirts?
https://www.marksandspencer.com/c/men/made-to-meas...
I appear to be a size 17 neck but only size 16 - 16.5 body, which makes shirts that I can do up, stupidly baggy, or fit ok on the body but strangle you if you try and do up the top button.
I couldn't afford £100+ for a tailor made shirt nor to be honest feel comfortable spending that much on a shirt, the M&S ones look about half of that which whilst still a bit wince inducing, sit a little better price wise.

Grim..... not as bad as second hand pants but grim all the same. I picked up a couple of pairs on ebay that show barely any signs of wear.

This may be an oxymoron, but smart baseball caps? Any suggestions?
Dreadful things. Considered a flat cap? But I wouldn't really fancy wearing a flat cap the rest of the time a hat is required.
I just find caps ideal for keeping the sun off, and on windy days (or in convertibles) for stopping my hair from looking like I've been dragged through a hedge.
I like my North Face cap - comfortable and fairly loose fitting, which helps with not looking too chav: https://www.thenorthface.co.uk/shop/en-gb/tnf-gb/m...
They have a few that don't look too chav:

The second 2 suggestions are the very definition of a chav cap.I like my North Face cap - comfortable and fairly loose fitting, which helps with not looking too chav: https://www.thenorthface.co.uk/shop/en-gb/tnf-gb/m...

Looks like if you get a decent fit, could be a bargain. I suppose it depend ultimately whether the default fits (regular/tailored/slim/superslim) work well on your body shape. Will be really interested to know how you get on if you decide to give it a go.https://www.marksandspencer.com/c/men/made-to-meas...
