To be fair, yachts are potentially dangerous places. But I still reckon the paracetamol:wound dressing ratio is in the pill's favour. smile

Only fruit loops like 5ohm. I’d be surprised if anybody’s routine has changed materially because of COVID
I was thinking more of having a stock of say two weeks food permanently. Along with other necessary items.

If we were still allowed to drink then I'd be inclined to agree.

1) 150 toilet rolls
2) 25kg of pasta
3) 100 litres of hand sanitiser

Not the prepping list I had originally planned.
All round to Hoofy's then!

Just on first aid, you're more likely to encounter heart attack, stroke, allergy or diabetic emergency, rather than a gushing artery wound...

Mrs Countdown thinks that anything less than 6 week's food supply is "living close to the edge" smile

You won't get in. I've barricaded the front door with it all!

Indeed! We all laughed at the preppers. We’re still laughing, as the shops are still open, but it just shows you never know!

Mrs DW was convinced that the world would go to hell as soon as Brexit was announced.

Therefore she’s been stockpiling for 2 years much to the amusement of family and friends.

Now we’ve got piles of tins and packets in the cupboards and it’s certainly come in handy as we only need to go out for fresh essentials.

So all that prepping has been in order to... reduce the amount of shopping you need to carry back from the shops?

It's come in handy.

All the things folk were panic buying we already had in.

You still can't get bread flour in the supermarket...we've got a stock.

I can go out once a week and do a shop for essentials knowing if the supermarket shops are a bit bare it's no big deal.

You can still buy bread though, and while its a little inconvenient having limited ingredients if you're a half decent cook its really not an issue. Tbh the inconvenience of having no bread flour is probably less inconvenient than keeping stacks of supplies in the house in case of Armageddon.

Yep panic buying seems to have died down as people realise there is still food on the shelves and we might be in this for the long haul. Last time I went shopping, there was nothing I needed that wasn't available on the shelves, they even had toilet roll (still have no idea why people are hoarding bog roll).

I’m finding it almost enjoyable...adapting, improvising and experimenting.
Just had garlic mushrooms stuffed with Stilton for lunch.lick
