That's kind of the little elephant in the room. It ignores the fact that by far the most logical action is to just migrate to the next town/state with food and accommodation but then there is a reason why it does that and that is because the loons are planning for a total end of days scenario where the whole of the US shuts down and there is nowhere to escape but to a hole in the ground with a stash of tampons, a Faraday wk cage and an overwhelming desire to murder every human they believe to be inferior to themselves. These are extremists just like the others with pick-up trucks, indoctrination websites, right wing media, beards, guns and a belief that everyone else in society is wrong. Damaged goods. biggrin

And what happens when you run out of batteries? A range card will do the job indefinitely.

Or at least until it gets wet and the old ration box you marked it on disintegrates

Careful DA, he is a highly trained operative. He could probably kill you instantly with nothing more than a HB Pencil.

Efbe I have no use for a credit card. I see their perceived benefits but they are not worthwhile to myself. That one time I forget to pay it in full, the bank will get their money back and more.

I am a big fan of Dave Ramsey. I budget using the envelope system. No credit cards, I am done. They're enough stressors in life, not having a credit card is one less.

As for a tactical debit card, I have one through USAA. It is a standard design. Usaa is only for military and family members.

So I am making all of this up? Ok rodger that.

You can always line your wallet with tin foil but over time the tin foil breaks down from the constant folding.

Even with an rfid wallet, it only works outside a certain proximity to the scanner. I've seen them fail if you hold the rfid wallet right up or close
to the scanner.

Most scammers that try to scan rfid chips will not be that close enough to penetrate an rfid wallet any how. You could locate the chip and use a hole puncher to cut it out.

I'll say again. I deleted my comments from this thread and other non automotive related threads because they descent into stupidity from closed minded cretins. This is the only post I've commented on since and i'm about to pop smoke on this too.

There is a clear difference on this forum who is a car enthusiast and who is a keyboard warrior wanting to toot their own horn.
Quoted before it gets smoke popped on it for posterity. smile

Edited to add, I think you should carry on Tooting your own horn on this thread. This lot are so obsessed with cars they haven't even prepped for a minor hurricane.

Ill check the link out later, blocked at work.
The tip I saw was to cut the tinfoil to the size of your wallet then apply tape to both sides then it will not break down as it is stuck together. I just thought for the sake of a quid or two the sleeve saved the hassel of trying to make something. Most of the RFID wallets I saw were hard shelled and I didn’t want that.

I've heard if this, it's anti interrogation training right? The SAS use it, chose a favourite song or nursery rhyme and repeat it over and over to divert your mind from the torture/ interrogators.

I use "Mary Had a Little Lamb" when the wife is going on at me. It works.

It's a metaphor for wasting your life... Which seems kinda apt.
