the manufacturer does samples for £1.50, I would offer to send one but I'm out of stock of the samples at present. If you're after a bottle I think I have a couple of gift sets left over from xmas where you get a free skincare product
£2.50 plus £5 postage, was going to order a sample, prob not now

That Green Irish Tweed is the absolute business, just ordered a full size bottle. And, as it's 100ml, it's not bad value. Obviously not cheap, but I can see the value in it at that cost.
It's 75 or 120 ml, be very careful when buying online as it is regularly faked

Right you are, I ordered 120ml - even better value then!

Well value is relative but it is a wonderful smell and if you read how they make it from real ingredients it seems more reasonable.

You are splashing on a bit of digested squid from the intestines of a sperm whale (Google ambergris)

Value is relative and can also be perceived, and, for me, this particular Product offers me good value.

I also don't give two sts how it is made laugh

I know what you mean, I just admire good craftsmanship whatever the product, as it is rare these days. It's also the reason the smell is distinctive and lasts a long time. Where did you order from?

Really surprised at the amount of blokes who still wear aftershave. IMO as bad a a woman with cheapo perfume.
Why would a man wearing good to high quality aftershave be at all similar to a woman wearing 'cheapo perfume'?

Is there anything wrong with smelling nice?

Of course if you completely doused yourself in something nasty then yes, you wouldn't be popular to those you sit right next to at work, but no one here is advocating that kind of aftershave use.

Just find it a bit 80s and vain with men these days. And it's the impact of the smell that is similar to a girl wearing cheapo perfume. If I'm out sociably and a bloke nearby is donning his favourite odour, then I tend to think "knob".
What a bizarre attitude.

Can't remember if I've posted in this thread before, my list is as follows:

Office or daytime: Boss by Hugo Boss (like), CK One Shock (Ok, not as wild about it as I once was, will burn through it and not buy again)

Evening with mates: Armani Code
Evening with ladies: Huge Boss Soul

I realise the above sounds pretentious as anything, not only do I have "favourite odours", I like to have different "odours" for different occasions, what a total knob I am! hehe

Not knowingly: Sold by OTC Global Trading Inc and Fulfilled by Amazon.

That is the current cheapest supplier, if too cheap you should be suspicious. If you are lucky you re getting a grey import or out of date stock, but there are a lot of fakes about, some very hard to spot unless you are very familiar with Creed or have a real one to do a side by side comparison,

I am a bit nervous now, I ordered it thinking it was Amazon but it's Innox Trading - had a look online and they seem ok. I'll take it in to a colleague who wears it as well and ask him to see what he thinks.

OTC have a 100% positive feedback, interesting that they have that feedback if they sold you a fake!

As I said that is current cheapest supplier, not necessarily one I got, which I would have to look up

Apologies, I misread.

I'm not feeling too confident now having looked at what the actual RRP is on Liberty's website. Probably a fake but I can just get my money back at least and then I'll just go and buy a 75ml next time I'm in central London.

Thanks for posting!

I tried out some of the Creed range lsat week in Fenwicks. My mate has the Aventus and I quite like it. Not as nice or masculine as spice bomb but I could wear it for a change. I then got squirted with the Irish Tweed. Going against the popular consensus but dear lord that stuff is vile. I gave it 10 minutes to settle. My other half complained like mad when we were in the lift so gave me a baby wipe. It didn't make a dent so she got out the alcohol hand sanitiser and the smell was still there. Each to their own but at that price, I'll stick with Victor Rolf for now.

As has been mentioned already in the thread, be REALLY careful where you buy from as there is fake Creed being sold everywhere as I have just discovered!

I was tidying out a drawer in my bedroom which contains my aftershave, cuff links, contact lenses etc, and decided to unbox a new bottle of Creed Aventus that was bought for me at Christmas by a close family member who will remain nameless.

Upon getting it out of the box and examining it, I can tell you it is very clearly FAKE!

The one I bought myself is on the left, and the one I've just a taken out of the box is on the right. You can see the spray top is different and it doesn't say Creed on it. The bottle caps and the packaging looked identical.

Needless to say it smells nothing like Aventus, and just reeks strongly of alcohol/ethanol.
