Ric's ok, demanding cups of tea smile

Michael - everything crossed, although I've seen rumours that it was an asthma attack

Who is Michael? Do you mean Marvin?

I saw him collapse at Wembley a few years ago too.

It's all very confusing. Although he was born Marvin, he seems to use the name Michael now.
Then again, he once claimed in an interview that his bank card had 'Mr M Loaf' on it!

Very sad. Paradise by the Dashboard Light is still my favourite ever song.

Meat Loaf is 'stable and in good condition' now.

I saw Meatloaf about 7-8 years ago and I was looking forward to it - his voice was an absolute shambles. After that he did collapse on anither show and I believe has on other shows. I've seen some videos of his singing sicne and it is awful - he really should just give up touring.

It's sad on a personal level for both and their families, but neither is remotely on the level of Bowie or Prince.

He was born Marvin but prefers to be called Michael and legally changed it in 2001

I saw the video, was hardly a collapse, more of a controlled lie down.

Perhaps there should be some sort of chart?

Bat Out of Hell is better than any albums Prince or Bowie did - but they were probably more diverse and influential overall.
