As does ridiculous levels of privilege and protection. 26 bishops in the House Of Lords, tax breaks, compulsory RE in schools and on and on.
Swings and roundabouts.
Privilege & protection, bishops in legislature fair points. My eldest did RE all through to A level. All bar one of the teachers were non christian and there are reasons (which you may disagree with) they had for teaching RE. Only faith inculcation in RC schools. And private ones.Swings and roundabouts.
Count me in as Christian. Personal decision over 40 years ago.

Another atheist here.
However, my brother was a missionary, my wife is a Sunday school teacher. Her sister was a missionary, and all her family are church-goers.
I know what a black sheep feels like!
Must be something in it do you not think? However, my brother was a missionary, my wife is a Sunday school teacher. Her sister was a missionary, and all her family are church-goers.

Another 'one' here, our church in Sussex has a few petrol heads, but not many. Trying to get a group to Le Mans but failed so far. The church is setting up a car maintenance/repair 'ministry' to carry out basic car services for families, single mums, retired people etc who want to take their cars somewhere they can trust and not get ripped off.

For balance & the inevitable responses, both olds are quite heavily involved (in a very local sense) and when I said as much, I didn't quite get the response I expected.
Some all round practicality and honesty would go a long way, but is unlikely. So, currently deciding whether or not I should help the olds make life more uncomfortable than the man can do alone, which he's quite good at .

Jehovas Witnesses are not allowed sports cars. Cars should be suitable for transporting other JWs to events and to areas for knocking on doors.
Surely there are interesting things that could meet that brief, while not being sports cars as such. Something like an RS6 would, while not being a sports car, be a great way of covering a greater area .DukeDickson said:

They were very nice and sincere people and i had to admire their dedication.
However, I began to be uncomfortable with the message they preached. Everything they said was backed up with quotes from the Bible and I began to think I'd got it wrong.
I had a long chat with my Vicar about it. He showed me how anything can be proved using the Bible if you want. It's about context, both of the time it was written and from what else was said both before and after it.
The Bible (espeically the New Testament) is a very simply written and accesible book but it is also very deep and it's important to read it all and think about it.
For the record,
I have no issue at all with other religions. It doesn't matter.
I have no problem with homosexuals. God made us all.
I will swear, I will drink to much, Ive looked at porn and I did my fair share of shagging around before i was married. I'm working on it though.
The only people I have a problem with is Utd fans but I suppose the devil has to support some one
The OP asked if there was anyone else like him and I've been impressed by those who've stood up to be counted
I've not been surprised by the "funny" posts.
Anyway, back to the piss taking chaps
