Help asked for re colour balance
Discussion
Hi,
I think I moved the dial on my camera when taking a series of outdoor photographs. They have come out very blue. See:
What is the best way to salvage something from the debacle?
I've got Photoshop 7 and PhotoPlus X8. I've been experimenting but not having much luck getting them to an acceptable level.

The controls I have for Potos'p on image adjustment are:
levels, curves, balance, hue/saturation, replace, selection, channel mixer, gradient map. I keep trying various ones but whilst many give a slight improvement I'm really just wandering. Is there one, or perhaps two, that I should concentrae on?

That's very kind of you, Steve. I'll take you up on it. I normally check the first image after switching the camera off. The one time I forgot . . .Steve @ SteveCarter.com

Looks like you took photos as if indoors under flash or something.I think I moved the dial on my camera when taking a series of outdoor photographs. They have come out very blue. See:

All I did was warm it up in Lightroom... same would go for PS - took TEMP to the right (not sure what colour the grass was, so left it as was)
I have to say, if you shoot raw, this would be SOOOOOOOO easy to fix. Jpg editing is mostly damage limitation.

Thanks for that, Steve. The top dial on my Lumix is too easy to move. Normally I feel when I've touched it, so to speak, but I missed this time. All I did was warm it up in Lightroom... same would go for PS - took TEMP to the right (not sure what colour the grass was, so left it as was)

Perhaps a new camera?
Cheers,
