Norton 961 owners chime in

For some reason I've taken a shine to one of the modern Norton 961 cafe racers but have spent most of the afternoon reading tales of woe about oil leaks from starters, a few recall type issues and a general trend of a few niggles.
Anyone who has one now or has owned one care to comment?
I only bike in summer in nice weather ( I know) and have a 748SPS at present, which I love but fancy a change. The couple of bikes I've seen are circa £11-13k so it's a fair chunk of money I'd have to stump up after selling the SPS

Not a bad suggestion cheers.The Norton seems to hold its value well despite any woes, can the same be said of the Triumph? The triumph Thruxton R looks the part, so equally chime in if you can comment or compare cheers.
