Money claim online issue?
Discussion
I started proceedings with MCOL to someone who has failed to pay a £1200 invoice, and won't respond to me.
As i predicted he has also failed to respond to my claim within 14 days, so i believe i should be able to win by default.
I started proceedings on the 4th June, and i have confirmation that the claim was issued on the 6th June.
Now i understand he had 14 days, plus 5 days from the 6th june, This takes us to 25th June. i.e. yesterday.
However I've gone online to "request judgement" but it won't let me, saying that not enough time has passed?
Am i missing something here? or is it broken?
Anyone been through this?
Should it just be a case of pressing "request judgement" ? or do i need to do something else first?
Cheers

If you have a look at their website it says:
"The defendant has 14 calendar days from the ‘date of service’ to file a response. If the last day for
filing the response falls on a day that the court is not open (i.e. a weekend or public holiday), the court
will allow the next full working day until 4pm for a response. The defendant can extend the time to
respond to 28 calendar days by filing an acknowledgment of service (AOS). You will be forwarded a
copy and the ‘Claim Overview’ section online will also be updated."

So looks like you'll have to wait until after 4pm on Monday.
