Dadford Road isn't £50 usually. Have they really pushed prices up?

Well there's no way I'm paying that!

Any alternatives?

I was told there was a farmers field nearby?

We're using the official park and ride for the first time this year. £10 to park just off the M1. No doubt the bus will be sitting in the same traffic as everyone else but there is no way I'm paying £50 to park my car for a day.

I'm planning on getting there ridiculously early to avoid the traffic!

I'm told that a campsite (non Silverstone) offers parking at a fiver on the Stowe school end of the circuit.

See if the Silverstone Schools have any spaces left, it's only a short walk from the village and it's a great fundraiser for a local cause.

"The Firs" is available.

What is the firs? Is that a school and where is it?

Windmill campsite used to offer cheap parking on the day and it's good for getting away from the circuit, not been for a few years though.

The Firs is on Little London in S'stone village. About 100 yards off Towcester Road (old A43). Presume its parking in the field behind the house.

Dadford Road, mentioned earlier in the topic. Within walking distance of Club Corner.

Instead pf creating a new thread hopefully no one will mind if i ask on here.

Im coming north down the m1 and have a official parking pass, im sat at the start finish line and would ideally like a gravel or tarmac car park as going in z4 i think which wont be good on wet grass. I managed to find one once but never since any advice on the best way in to try and make this happen.

Im thrill a minute arent i!

You'll be directed down the A43 and onto Dadford Road. There are Tarmac car parks all down the circuit side of the road. Get there early and you'll get a space....but on this thread someone has suggested this'll cost you £50....

Are these the official car parks? If so i have bought my parking ticket with the grandstand ticket.

When going down the a43 am i right in thinking i ignore the first signs to come off and carry on all the way up, i seem to remember the one time i found the gravel car park i came off the slip road onto a roundabout turned left and was almost immediately in the circuit, whereas the other way is down the country road with the a43 to your left in view.
