Old tech found in drawers...
Discussion
A quick look in my drawers (hehe) reveals a load of old phones, the most interesting of which are this brick which is my festival staple because it never dies from the Friday to the Monday.
And a pair of T Mobile 'Sidekicks' (II and III I think), I loved these phones and they were reasonably rare in the UK at the time, the whole spinning screen thing continues to fascinate me. Can't bring myself to part with them.
And finally, I've got a few of these, mostly because I am a hoarder and don't like getting rid of things like this in case I ever need a backup of my music.

I have an LS120 a LTO2 tape drive with 20 tapes with the SCSI card, then there is the AT keyboard in the loft. A few floppies in a cupboard and an old firewall i forget the name of to name a few. (It is a sonic wall)
Tomorrow I will list the crap and if anyone wants it then pay for posting and it is yours for free.
Wires, so many wires.

^^^^^^ The wife loved her Sidekick, I remember that they were quite rare; she loved a physical keyboard so moved to Blackberry for a number of years and finally got in the real Smartphone world with Samsung.
They were cracking little phones and the rarity meant that having the keyboard pop out usually had everyone close wondering what on earth it was. Somewhere in my loft will be complete sets of:

Can't match that (apart from maybe having Windows 3.1 on floppy) but I did find a complete ring binder containing the complete user/developer guide for MSDOS, it's 3 inches thick! dbase III

Anyone remember the Weezer video included on the Win95 CD? They went on to be pretty big, about 10 years after that appearance.

That reminds me; I used to have the Ericsson T28s back in 2001 and I thought it was the dogs. It was so small.
6 years ago I bought one from eBay, determined to start using it again. It worked fine but with the aerial in place it was actually no smaller or thinner than a modern phone of 2010, the keys were tiny, the reception dubious, entering text was a chore and and the display was pitiful.
Still, it was great at the time.
I did the same. It's still on the shelf under my coffee table.6 years ago I bought one from eBay, determined to start using it again. I had a PC with a 486SX 25mhz back in the day, it was an absolute sloth...Also had a 50 mhz 486 later on (not sure if that was a DX/DX2 or SX2 model), which i managed to OC by switching the bus jumpers on the mobo from 25 to 33 mhz, fricking awesome, but it did get rather hot
Mind you, this was well into the Pentium II/III days, it wasnt untill 2003 when i got my first actual up to (then) current speed PC, an Athlon XP 2600+
I tend to throw all old tech out.
The Amiga went in the bin after 20 years in the loft.
Ps1 is still there I think complete with cartridge and Spring so you could play copied games.
Game gear is still there this is probably the oldest thing I own now.
Maybe my old mega drive is in the parents loft.
Honourable mention to that 60gb iPod. I had the 20g version which used to just keep breaking.
I have kept my 1st mobile phone though. The nortel Nevada although no idea where the charger is

Forgot this as well (though I do actually play with it)
Amstrad CPC464. I had one as a kid (green screen version) and husband bought me this a few years ago so I could reminisce sitting listening to it whir and whine for twenty minutes loading games. Still great fun though, and I am still utterly crap at paperboy.
