My dad is moving house after 30 years of living in the same place. He asked me over to clear the attic, as I keep a lot of stuff there and I came across the below.

It was bought back in 1992/3 for my birthday, and the box has been stored up there from the day after. I stopped playing the Gameboy when I got a PS1 (about 1996?) where it returned to the attic and has been there since. Apart from a film of dust that cleaned off immediately, the boxes are in amazing condition. The carry case hadn't fared so well as it wasn't stored in the chest with the Gameboy, with mold all over the fabric, and the internal foam padding turning in to a gooey dust.

Fired it up for nostalgia and it still works, but I lost interest in it after a couple of minutes... will be going on the bay of electronics.

One in that good condition is probably worth a fair amount of money now

I've got a Musical Fidelity B1 amp locked in a drawer somewhere. Not been used in 15+ years. Should sell it really, as I gather they fetch good money:

I've got one of those in the loft, it was my main Hi-Fi until 18 years ago when I moved in with the Mrs and there was no room for a 'proper' Hi-Fi, although the turntable had packed in by then anyway so I just got by using the PC for everything.

I've no Idea if it still works, the volume pot is probably noisy as hell and some of the caps may have dried up by now, but I'll hang on to it, because I hang on to everything.
Wonder if this is classed as old tech yet?

Selling my N64 with Zelda Ocarina of Time on eBay at the moment, due to end tonight. Can anyone please tell me if there's a "buy it now" option. I thought I put one in, but if I sign out and view the item it just says "submit bid"....I'm kind of hoping that the BIN option isn't there, as it may be lower than what it may potentially fetch, but time will tell.

Hope that link works.

The Buy It Now option disappears once somebody makes the first bid.

Be interested in what you get for that as I've one that I'll be listing shortly; mine's much more used but also has the original packaging.

Used to be only if a bid was made over the Buy it Now price, has it changed?

I guess so!

Anyone care to guess how much it'll sell for? Currently at just £21, 7 watchers.

I would expect anything up to £40. They are not especially valuable or uncommon in that condition, but having OOT included with it may help bump it up a bit.

Just found my old N64 console with Zelda Ocarina of Time....shoved it on eBay and will see what happens. 10 day auction. No idea what it's worth but starting bid of £20.
If they're boxed you should be in for a nice surprise
unfortunately not! I still reckon Ocarina of Time is my favourite game ever....just epic!
All of my SNES and N64 games are boxed + instructions. Probably worth a bit...

Good luck!
I wonder if there's any value in my boxed Goldeneye.

As an anecdote, I have a recent model Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. I've started seeing a girl recently who couldn't understand what the red mouse pointer nipple thing is and thought it was the most ridiculous thing she has ever seen

Those nipple things are actually pretty accurate, sometimes prefer them to the godawful track pad.

Seconded. A wireless mouse is the current way to avoid track pads.

Agreed with the above. I bought a wireless keyboard with a touchnipple to use with my desktop!
