That reminds me; I used to have the Ericsson T28s back in 2001 and I thought it was the dogs. It was so small.
6 years ago I bought one from eBay, determined to start using it again. It worked fine but with the aerial in place it was actually no smaller or thinner than a modern phone of 2010, the keys were tiny, the reception dubious, entering text was a chore and and the display was pitiful.
Still, it was great at the time.

Just had a little dig around...
Remember when AOL used to send you free trial CDs? Well before that they were on floppy disk, whatever happened to Pipex?
OMG I co-wrote that software! Not seen those disks for a long time now. To answer the question of where is PIPEX. It got sold to Tiscali who sold it to Talk Talk and I believe it still exists as a sub brand.Remember when AOL used to send you free trial CDs? There's probably some mad man out there rocking his 28.8k connection for his BBS boards. If you fancy a souvenir from your past, I'd happily send the disks.
