I have a 31 inch waist for jeans. If you buy online from the USA they do them in the "odd" sizes as well as the even ones, which is very handy.

www.sheplers.com

Is an example.
American Eagle is also pretty good (even better know they do UK delivery)

Same.

Finding Charles Tyrwhitt has been god send for shirts/tops. Tried a pair of their trousers which were a bit baggy round the ankles though

Whenever people say they are an odd shape and clothes don't fit it's usually because they simply buy the wrong size.

Those who say they have long arms/legs/ etc rarely do.
Is this you?

Long in relation to other bits, for example the standard cut of most shirts that fit my neck (the usual measurement for shirts) are a bit short in the arms and back. The standard cut of most t-shirts means they're too short if they fit ok across the chest/shoulders, or too baggy if they're long enough. There are however brands that do longer shirts, or other cuts that work, so those of us saying here we're an odd size mean we're not the standard size that most shops stock.

My Mrs buys a lot of her clothes from Long Tall Sally as they make stuff for taller women.

My mother always found German brands fitted her better than British ones.

I've got a fairly standard 34ish waist, but my inner leg is about 27-28 inches. Makes buying trousers a pain in the arse.

I kid you not, there is a porter (a beast of a man) at a hotel we stayed in (Dominican Republic) a few years back, with arms just like that. He was already 6ft5+ easily, but his arms were like Mr Tickle's. I put it down to all the heavy bags he'd been lugging.

A 45 chest and a 36 waist is NOT an odd size.

Swimmer, so have the perennial problem of finding stuff that fits the shoulders nicely but then ends up looking a tent on a coat hanger by the time it gets to the waist. I have long arms and legs as well and normally a 30 waist so all the stupid things with watches, belts and the like applies. Though in trousers I do find a 32 w and regular leg to be most comfy, the slightly larger waist means they sit lower and then I don't need to hunt for a Long version of a 30.

Im definitely odd shaped, tbh 'awkward' also fits the bill.
6ft 7, 21 stone, size 15 feet, very large hands dont bode well for fitting in most clothes or shoes, or gloves for that matter.
Most people with an average build who can try anything off the rail and it looks good dont know how lucky they are.
