Why don't they do size 33 or 35?
This was the whole premise behind the store "Gap". They were meant to cover the gap sizes that no one else did. Somewhere along the line they abandoned this and just sell mostly the usual sizes.I am 6'5'' with a 6'8'' arm span so length of things can be hard. Places like CT Shirts, TM Lewin etc are good because they do longer sleeved shirts. Hawes and Curtis now do longer sleeves in their casual range too.
Handy for painting ceilings mind

And even then, the belt holes are slightly off, so it's either hoiking them up every two minutes or feeling slightly pinched....
Same problem here (clothes as well as belt). With the belt I get the closest size and then drill a new hole where I need one And even then, the belt holes are slightly off, so it's either hoiking them up every two minutes or feeling slightly pinched....

I'm 34 to 36 inch waist, 36 to 38 inch leg, and massive thighs.
Always makes jean shopping tricky. 36 x 36 is normally fine, but they seem to fit like jeggings.
The link above looks good, I might have to have a dabble. (And slip a cowboy hat in the basket too.)
I havent seen them over here, but I found loads of 'athletic fit' Levis in the US that fit perfectly - I have a similar problem, jeans on sale at the moment are slim fit which cling to me on the upper legs but are fine after about half way down my leg. This can't be a problem because clothes sizes are MADE OF LIES.
I've had trousers that are 28, 30 and 32 that all fitted on the waist (and I'm fairly consistently sized).
In fact, I'm 37 and I don't think I've ever successfully purchased trousers that fit properly. I'll admit my hatred of the whole clothes buying process means I often exit the changing room with the phrase, "fk it, that'll do" - followed by months of regret - but I resent the fact I have to try multiple sizes on when they should be made to consistent measurements in the first place.
Incorrect sizes should incur massive fines: £10,000 for every inch off the actual size.
I was thinking of measuring my waist with a bit of string then testing the trousers in the shop that way. Is that weird?

You're right and I don't get it. It's inches ffs. Trousers that are 32" waist and 34 inch leg should all be identical. Shirts are just as bad. Some 17" collars choke me to death, whilst others have room for a friend. How hard can in be to make them the right size.I've had trousers that are 28, 30 and 32 that all fitted on the waist (and I'm fairly consistently sized).

Getting weird looks on the train as I piss myself laughing.
I can relate to all of it as well being an odd shape myself.
Wide shouldered, Tyson necked, barrel chested, longish torso, Orang Utang arms, 36 inch waist, massive thighs, short stumpy legs, 5ft 7 with size 11 feet, covered in hair. In fact reading that back I think I might be 'The Missing Link'.
Explains why I find Alfa Romeos comfortable to drive.
Perhaps we should start a Pistonheads Victorian style freak show????

This is me although I'm a 32 waist, 32 leg but with massive thighs. 32 x 32 is uncomfortably skin tight and badly fitting around the butt/crotch (look like I have permanent boner) area except from one store. I now buy ALL of my trousers from that one store except suit trousers. Most of my suits are hand finished by the shop so they're always fine! I also have quite a fat neck and broad shoulders so I'm buying shirts to fit my neck and shoulders that are too long in the arms and torso area. For this reason I hate buying shirts.
gap and levis are the best bet for odd sized waist sizes. levis sub brand dockers do very a very good cut/fit 5 pocket jean of which i am currently sat inside a pair [33" waist].
just had a look on their site and they also do a range up to 58" waist and 38" leg for all you freaks out there
