Ok, that is also v. cool Dragon,
having resolved the original question ('Puff' is good) via the power of PH, any other cool dragons/mythical beasts for tots lurking around?

Mrs Sportidge and I found this at a charity shop the other day.

Apparently, it's "Monstrous Nightmare" from How To Train Your Dragon 2.

We bought it. We have no kids, it's for me..... biggrin

Why are you even asking this question?

If it offends the PC Brigade, you're on a winner.

If you're worried, which you shouldn't be, call it Idris.

The OP's Mrs is obviously an evil woman. That "thing" would scare the bejaysus out of me.

Speaking of "Puff the Magic Dragon", this is my favourite connotation of the name -

Nothing wrong with Puff OP. It's not the most offensive drug reference.

That said if you get a second one, calling it Crackwh*re may be a little unnecessary.

If you think Puff is unsafe, call it Diane Abbott.

The red one needs to be called Idris as he's the right colour.

My daughter got a unicorn recently she calls Horney (and she like to ride him).

I wouldn't mind but she's 26.
She wouldnt happen to be single would she? silly

My oldest has a stuffed furby (without the electronic gubbins thankfully) which went by "whackjob" (mafkees actually, for you dutchies) for quite a while.

So- SWMBO's aunt has made the most awesome cuddly dragon for our 6 month old little boy.

Here's the little fella here.. (dragon - not our boy!)

Looking at it, the first name that came into both our heads for him was 'Puff'.

However, given the connotations of Puff and Magic Dragons etc, is it wrong to call him Puff?
Clearly our little one will have no idea of these for a long time, however

Part of me thinks we should any way

Answers on a postcard...(or alternative name suggestions)
