As no-one has replied... If you get a connection to skype you have connectivity. Try manually setting your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Go to settings,
Adaptor settings,
Properties
Internet Protocol Version 4
Propereties
Leave Obtain an IP address automatically
Click Use the following DNS servers
Enter 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

Ok all the way out and test

Probably want to flush the DNS too.

windows key +r
type cmd
type ipconfig /flushdns
confirm it's done
close window.

Internet Explorer is most likely set to use a proxy server. Couple of references to help you unset it...

Do notice though that using Google's DNS (which is what 8.8.8.4 is) gives them access and logs every website you visit. Given that you are in ecommerce I am not sure it is very valuable potentially giving them info that they could use to make more money out of you?

You should be able to use your ISP's dns servers, which you will find in your router settings.

Half the world uses google DNS, and sure it does give them access to a certain amount of data, but using your isp's gives them the exact same access, and you think they are somehow better than google?

Try running DNS Benchmark and see who's fast for you...
https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm

OPENDNS are usually there or thereabouts and somewhat less intrusive than google.
