Hi , i travelled from Luton Today and parked in the mid term car park. Free bus to the airport every 10 mins and the journey is 5 mins. First 15 mins in the car park is free so perhaps you can drop off and pick up from the mid term instead ? At 04.30 the traffic was free flowing into the airport and the short term parking. As I was leaving at 20:00 the queue to get into the airport , and short term parking looked about 25 mins. Mid term looks a better bet.

You get 30 mins free(might be less) in the mid-term car park, I've flown from Luton several times this year and have been dropped off and picked up from the mid-term car park without issue.

The bus runs every 10 mins or so to and from the terminal, makes it a piece of cake and also means you avoid the horror that is the pick up\drop off area.

I have never had a problem with the short term car park. What has changed?

Usually I pay upto about £15 depending how long I need to wait, which I consider acceptable, but it's not cheap.

Wait (somewhere) local for them to land & exit the airport. Use the £2 drop off & collection lanes.

This is what I do, usually wait in the Toys R Us Car Park.

The Holiday inn express as you come off the roundabout to take the road up to the airport used to be free for 15 minutes too
