Given the background, it'd have to be one of the top left, but it isn't a correct guess for any of those. Also given that both the correct and wrong icons are in bold colour rather than greyed out, the image doesn't indicate whether correct or otherwise. Not only that, in my browser, both remain greyed until the dots above disappear and it comes back with either correct or wrong, I'm not convinced it's a valid straightforward screenshot.
So, if that's been edited, I'd suggest the overall score of 46 out of 50 has also been edited/photoshopped.
If people really have got more than the 9 correct that most seem to have (and especially if they have 46), then the lack of anyone willing (and I suspect able) to provide even a single additional correct answer beyond the common 9 is a strong indication that there are only 9 correct answers and the "quiz" is a wind-up.

I thought that single shoe might be a Cinderalla reference.
Cinderalla = Dexys "midnight runners"? Not a hope. Still only 9
That was a glass shoe, but good thinking, I'd got nothing for that. Elvis Costello and Kate Bush both had songs about red shoes, but it's not them either. Cinderalla = Dexys "midnight runners"? Not a hope. Still only 9
I wondered about the crack in the pavement being somebody Fisher (fissure), but I've tried Carrie, Climie and Fischer-Z without success.

Try searching the web for discussions about this quiz. none, anywhere, except here.
Someone winding up PH. for reasons unknown.
I'm to blame for bringing it here, a friend who is a proper Mensa type and wins virtually every pub quiz said it was difficult, she wasn't wrong...Someone winding up PH. for reasons unknown.

All I did was hit printscreen. No photoshop.

Do you think some images might relate to famous singles / albums rather than the performer? I tried the obvious one ("Yes" for the Fragile-labelled cardboard box) ages ago but of course it isn't.
Maybe, though the basic nine are quite obvious and point to the artist rather than one of their songs. Except for "Metallica" - I must admit that while it's obvious now, I didn't get that until I read it here. I tried Terence Trent-D'Arby for the box, for "Delicate", but wrong.New comment says that the chimp is a particular one, not just a chimp. I started looking for artists whose name is "Jim P"-something, but got nowhere. Presumably the chimp is Bubbles, but that hasn't helped me.
It does like more and more like it might be a wind-up, but then someone said earlier there was another quiz about tube stations that presumably wasn't.

Sorry to be a bit cynical, but it just seems strange that there are several people on here who have all got the 9 above relatively easily, yet are completely stuck on getting any others.
But more than happy to be proved wrong.
It's wrecking my head the amount of trash Google is throwing up trying to find answers to this quiz.

If you view the source code, you'll see the list of people who have completed it is just plain text entry, not a dynamic or auto-updated list.
