On the subject of Amazon .. I accidentally clicked 'Amazon Prime' and was signed up for it .. seems a bit suspicious.

I have cancelled the subscription but now stuck with a free service that I didn't want! I order stuff now and again but these sort of tactics will certainly not encourage me to buy more stuff .. frown
I had the same problem. It's many times easier to sign up than to disentangle from it isn't it?

FWIW if I were buying an expensive item I'd opt for collecting from a local parcel point then there would be none of phantom signature rubbish. I note that Amazon are now offering an app that allows you to scan a parcel and be advised of the contents immediately. I hope it's not quite as simple as that or the van drivers would be able to pick what to nick.

Edit: I've just looked at the Amazon website and cannot find reference to it... confused

It’ll match it with your recent orders and show you what’s inside. (You can only see things that you ordered yourself; it won’t work with random packages on your neighbor’s doorstep).
So not really a problem then.

I have used Amazon a lot in the past, less often recently. Main difference is I used to try and get items directly from Amazon, now I choose 3rd party sellers with good reviews.
