All those those advise moderation, not cutting out completely.
It doesn't say anywhere eat more meat, dairy and eggs though! To the contrary, it says eat more fruit, nuts etc. What a surprise. Common sense perhaps? But please state the opposite to common sense in your reply, as usual. I won't be responding to your wind up responses any further. Find you own way forward in life and accept the consequences. What a load of bks. Just shows you know nothing about diet and health, not even the difference between veggie and vegan as a diet. I won't be responding to your bks any further. Dumb ass ignorant wind up idiot or troll, you choose.
Your tone is very aggressive and belittling and has been throughout this thread. Is it possible for you to offer your opinion without the constant vitriol?Impasse said:

As explained previously, my responses have been purposely belittling with wind up idiots. Where someone is interested in a reasoned debate I respond accordingly and offer respectful views. Take a look. This thread began in the health section and unfortunately was moved to the lounge where the idiots attempted a take over.
Edited to add. Further evidence of a wind up idiot above

Those hippy half-wits are missing out on the vital nutrients required to keep a human heathy.
Vegans are missing out on:
-Protein (yes, I do know what incomplete proteins are)
-Calcium
Perhaps if those stupid fkers knew a single thing about biology, then they'd realize that humans are supposed to have a balanced diet.
The story all begins 3 million years ago in Africa. The hominin species 'Homo Ergaster' was one of the first great apes to master fire. Whether it was a lightning strike, a spark, or something else; we'll never know.
But we do know that this set the rails for all of mankind's advancements. The mastery of fire benefited humans in two ways.
It allowed for the cooking of food, which in turn allowed for the jaws to become smaller, thus allowing more room for the brain.
Meat was the one thing that most benefited mankind.
Did you know that, hippies?
Perhaps you've been too busy with all that New Age spiritual nonsense.
And, how the fk can you give up meat?
Don't you fking love a juicy, red steak?
Red meats are fking delicious and you can't deny it.
We all live off of some form of life. If we don't kill the cattle and eat them; then they'll overpopulate and desertify the world.
And don't get it wrong, I love animals. I'm passionate for them and all, but at the end of the day, I fking love myself a good ole' steak.[...]
humans are supposed to eat meat. It's been part of the human diet (Homo Ergaster, Homo Erectus, Homo Sapiens) for the past three million years.
It's dangerous.
Vegans push their hippy nonsense on to their children, whom then risk mineral deficiencies. [...]
I had a health professor who said it took her brother decades before he started to get really sick from his vegan diet (deficiencies caused by it). Before that he appeared generally healthy and ended up in the hospital a lot until he started eating a more balanced diet. It's kind of like my brother. He eats only pizza and fried food, but he's only 22 so his poor diet hasn't gotten a chance to catch up with him yet.
[...] the vegans themselves are often self-righteous tts looking down on us disdainfully from their pedestals. If you refrain from eating meats because of all the negative press that red meat gets or if you just don't like the idea of eating a dead animal, that's fine. But once you start expanding that lifestyle to include the anti-humanity PETA and talking down to me because I enjoy a good Ribeye, then you're just a delusional hippie. I'm a 230 pound muscular male who can't maintain his physique on wheatgrass and dandelions. If that means that I'll die at 75 and you'll die at 80... I'm perfectly fine with that. I get to eat deliciousness for 75 years while you nibble on cornstalks for 80.
Fill yer boots yer delusional hippy! Arr!Vegans are missing out on:

Step back for a moment. Is there any chance that your sense of humour failure is fanning the flames of piss taking? This may be a very important subject to you but for the greater majority it's just food and your almost evangelical preaching about the choices you've made are of little relevance to anyone else. Attempting to convert or convince a reader that your way is the only way is a pointless task but your convictions are being used to poke fun at you. None of those with whom you are engaging in a battle of words has the slightest interest in copying your dietary lifestyle. This thread began in the health section and unfortunately was moved to the lounge where the idiots attempted a take over.

I think it is sad that this thread has turned out the way it has. It could have been a sensible discussion about meat free diets but instead has turned into preaching from both sides. Time to close it I think which is a shame because I am always open to varying my diet even as s committed meat eater. The way it has give us the equivalent of people going onto Porsche threads and going on about how they have bought a Ferrari and how dare you tell them otherwise.
