Hi. I had my new phone delivered today. I opened the box. It was missing its charger. I've had a refund and now the waiting for delivery starts anew, having just reordered.

*sigh*
Stick to the 2-way radio. Repeat 2-way. It's a trap do not turn the phone on.

GANTRY; from the Old English Gan Tree (or Trees). Two adjacent trees of similar size were chosen and a stout length of wood (possibly a tree trunk selected for its straightness) was run between strong branches of the trees at a similar elevation to allow safe passage between the trees at high level, eg "I'm gan across to t'other soid." It was found that the cross member could used for lifting heavy objects and the gantry as we now know it was born. For example, there is documentary evidence of Gan Trees being used for engine swaps in trebuchets.

It's +60 on a 1600 with twin 40DD's good buddy. But that's not important right now. We've got comms problems and McAndy is preoccupied with water rations and taken his eye off the imminent storming. It's going pear shaped.

I don't know about you but I prefer the old Severn Crossing to the new one. It's bridgier. Plus, it has a few miles of deserted two lane motorway on the Wales side.

If you see what I'm saying.

I don't care much for the 'M48' thing to be honest. Doesn't seem quite so prestigious as 'M4' somehow.

Broadboy?

Just try it again from the "empty two lane motorway" perspective. In your mind. For me.

Over.

Stop press; a weird snail has been found in a London garden. Its shell spirals widdershins or something and boffins are cockahoop about it.
