Boring and trivial.

I found the entry wrist band from Belgium WRX last year,I thought I'd binned it.
It's the turquoise one.

The others being from Germany in October and Sweden 2015 and Power big meet, year not known.

Sweden did things so much better, wristband better quality and they're the only ones to do their own big 18" sticker for the meet.

Had a dream last night that I went into my local Indian takeaway for the second time in one week and the owners recognised me. I was mortified as I was worried they'd think I was a complete waster, unable to cook for myself, and living off takeaways!

Is the Big Power meet still going? That looked great in the old days. Swedish ladies are rather nice too!

I read on PH somewhere that after 2015 meet, the organiser got robbed, presumably of the takings, that would be a considerable sum,so he said he wasn't going to do it anymore .

Then someone else said they'd run it,so original bloke changed his mind.

I went in 2010 in the Cosworth,2014,2015 in the funny Fiat.

Enjoyed it a lot, huge field to wear oneself out walking round, dodging drunken Swedes.

Ah,a Viper pic.....and yes the ladies.....lick

There's a website for 2017 but guessing you won't get a pass if you're off with the Viper peeps in May.

Power big meet is always first weekend of July.

In 2015 I found 2 other events to do to fill 2 weeks.

Midnight Sun rally is based in same city as Big meet, followed that around for 3 days, drove up north to Finland and Arctic circle, drove all the way back for Big meet on the Friday, then drove west to Norwegian border for world rally cross at Holjes, nicknamed "The magic weekend".
I went into Norway for a couple of hours just because never been in before.

Yes, but it's not all bad. The resulting Free-For-All in the bar is the stuff of legend.

The cry goes up very quietly, "Battert's asleep!"
I dont like the way he sleeps with his glass eye open at all, i find it rather disconcerting.

Puts me right off my VaT
Of course, there was that rumour about him having two glass eyes. While it seems at first glance to be ridiculous, it would explain some aspects of his driving and the more lurid concoctions he comes up with in the bar.

It was the paisley pattern pyjamas he wore while doing the Dance Of The Flaming aholes with a lit copy of The Times up his jacksie that put me off getting into rounds with him. Especially if it happened before I had read it.

Morning all. Some friends moved to Norfolk last year, looks like we're going to visit them over the weekend.

The chap's bought a boat too, so that should be fun to potter around on. It's only a small fishing / day boat thing, nothing on the scale of Jim AK's vessel but I'm sure it'll be enough to get us into a few scrapes.

Whoa Christ, don't let Pushfit see that! He'll have the bugger commissioned and ready to go inside a week.
Him and HMS Belfast have a lot to answer for.

To start the ball rolling in a valuation thread in the Lounge I offered my non-twisted cheese twist to the assembled PH experts. It was going great guns until someone moved it to Food & Drink.

What will happen if the owner of a blob of glass taken from the fire at the Crystal Palace needs a price?

What then?

Probably the best thing chap. Sorry, buddy.

If you fancy some hot dogs and donuts you could ask Fatboy for a ride in the Viper to the Co-Op on West 123rd Street. He'll probably let you fly the Stars 'n Stripes out the goddam trunk too.

Have a nice day y'all. Cotton pickin' varmints...
