That's ok DC,I only take a passing interest in SOTW,it's usually people just posting "what a POS" ,with the occasional real world experience with some measured response.

Some of the best sheds are the comedy finds, like an LDV van or a Metro "chairman",raised roof disabled styleee.
Done. Wisdom imparted. Off to lie down in a darkened room.

I just don't get London. Just don't understand why some people love it. I go there quite a bit and it's just a rank city like all the others.

Went out to the Hatch of Brands in the baggy Barchetta, not too cold if one stayed in the strong sunshine

and didn't lurk in a shadow.

Some good rallying to be seen ,chatted with crew of both the Escort Cosworths, one driven with considerably

more competence than the other but seeing as one is driven by the event headline sponsor, he can drive in

reverse for all I care.

I couldn't face driving with the top down, there or back...paperbag

3 Ferraris started, one didn't start SS2, the Autobianchi didn't even start SS1 and the bloke who set

fastest time in SS1 in a Peugeot 306 Maxi broke something within a few hundred yards of SS2 start.

It retired making a horrid clunking noise.

That is all, for now.

In an idle moment I was doing a crossword and the clue was 'Trifling', 7 letters. Are there any other pudding-related synonyms of our thread?

I once went to a rally sponsored by Proctors coaches, Mr proctor was competing, he had a coach kitted out with a ramp and bay to load his escort cosworth into, all the gear crew of mechanics, the works.
He sat there on the limiter on the startline of SS1, dropped the clutch and there was a clunk and nothing happened. Managed to blow the trans on the startline, didnt even move a foot on the event he was sponsoring.

I'm watching The Man In The High Castle, mostly because it contains a lot of really nice old Mercs.
