Watching the Grand Tour yesterday. They made a play on words about the Barchetta in the Abarth 124 review.

I started spec in an Abarth on my computer. Mrs AZ saw me and said "No. just no."

Maybe their heating system broke down so she's got the whole family in there?

Plausible.

I've done it.

Talking of neighbours, earlier on whilst making dinner ,I see next door's boy ,all of 7,8 yo ,climb over

into my garden and fiddle around with an old tyre that is due to be binned.

If he wants it, come round and ask but otherwise FRO and leave my crap alone.

Not sure if I'm miffed about not just shouting at him to get out but I'll have a word with dad...irked

Its 5 series and in park. I though of that but I can just get to the hitch at 45 degrees so I'll have to try that. Bit of a PIA though.

Alas...The queue was too long and the kids were getting cold. Went to the museum though...Which again, was lovely.

Talking of the cold...Being from the valleys we don't often venture to the cities. The kids felt very concerned for the homeless people outside.....My daughter especially, It really struck a chord. It was properly cold by this time...She asked if anyone helps them so I told her that if she wanted to we can help a little. We bought tea's and hot pork baps and gave them out to a couple of people that she wanted to help. . It's the small acts of kindness that make a difference. I was a very proud.

My daughter, 8 years old, does not like Cities at all. The people, the crowds & the noise is just too much & overwhelms her somewhat.

She would love do the tea & bap thing though..... Heart of gold, no idea where she got it though.

We lost an older neighbour before Christmas, lady in her 60's very suddenly to Leukaemia. Daughter has written a poem about her & it's so poignant we can't give it to her husband yet.

When I read it I did so in a dusty room!!
