Afternoon all, spoke to my landlord yesterday and I have been granted permission to get a new 4 legged best friend in my life, so the hunt starts at the local animal sanctuary this weekend, cannot wait bounce
Excellent

Bovine, Canine or Feline?
Probably ovine. The local sheep will be feeling nervous! eekwink
Bugger, found out hehe Canine for me, went looking on break today, think it will take a bit of time to find the right one.

We've got section of glass floor in the office and last year a tiny glass coffee cup was dropped on it and it (the floor) shattered. Glass was fine

It's taken until today to get the insurance sorted and a new panel put in.

5m wide x 1 metre, triple laminate toughened glass 33mm thick.

It took 8 burly looking lumps to lift it in.

All done now though.

By the way, if anyone wants a recommendation on bullet proof coffee cups, the Nespresso Espresso cups are tougher than Chuck Norris.

Not that I have a bias but have a look at
https://www.retiredgreyhounds.co.uk/

Really low maintenance dont need loads of exercise, tend to be very healthy as they are extremely careful to make sure they dont get inbred. Ours is 12 in October and despite his starting to go blind (having cataract surgery is apparently too risky at his age) hi is fighting fit.

So, chaps...

After once again been let down by an engagement gone sour, losing the mighty ignis, footing the bill for the beige Honda and being left with nowhere to live; the artist formerly known as Chunky has officially bought his own flat!

Missives concluded today... Get the keys next Friday!

In today's trivia. Buggered home early and changed the inlet manifold and carb.

Hopefully she'll run now without spluttering and blowing back.

Further trivia: we keep getting next doors parcels albeit they're half a mile away but hide away and don't have a house name displayed. I've told them to put a sign up many times. So today's wrong delivery got slung on the pile of others it's a large pack of large bras.
I'll probably dump all the packages in a heap outside their place at night in the mud when it's raining. Tossers. I think there's a touch of traveller in there that's why they like being 'hidden away'.

Realtime trivia update; I'm also eating chocolate coated raisins, the quality control when dunking things in the chocolate clearly isn't quite 100%.
