I got hit in the face at the age of 4 by a baby in a swing, does that count? It was one of those ones worth the high back & sides, made out of metal.
I probably shouldn't be laughing, should I? biggrin

Bomma probably has a swelling to prove that the nurses looked after him

Did I just say that?

The swelling has reduced considerably since my discharge. One of the nurses, Katie McScalpel, said it was one of the largest she'd encountered for some years.
It was certainly the type of thing that could easily have had your eye out.

I've got a severe bout of inevitable disdain after my journey home from work (which was a most satisfactory day btw) after firstly a cyclist, whilst I was moving to the right and almost level with his rear wheel flung out his right arm and moved straight across me irked This was followed less than five minutes' later by the daft cow in a white Mini who pulled out in front of me on a roundabout resulting in an emergency (well not quite, but a bit sharpish) stop grumpy and an actually quite pleasing heavy blast of the horn biggrin That nearly cheered me up wink

"Blast of the horn", ooh err missus...

Fourteen years of struggling to raise my kids as a single parent with no financial or moral support from their Father, last week my middle son was offered a place in the sixth form at a prestigious private school having been, for want of a better phrase, head hunted/watched by them since he was 11. Less than an hour ago, after working ten hours, doing housework and sorting out paperwork I found out the majority of the fees will be paid for him by the school after finding an unopened envelope in with their placement offer letter. I've been in tears since. No one is awake to share this with so I'm posting here.

It was Captain Oates, Scott's horse handler.

Sorry.

paperbag

This should not affect your preparation of the car.

An ad on an msn F1 article:

I guess it comes down to how you define a luxury car. Iva would be pleased though. If he was still here.

That was some flounce.

Morning all.

That's a marvellous story Gretchen, congratulations. A good result for all your hard work.

I'm not having much of a morning so far, I keep losing things. I've tucked a letter away somewhere and can't find the bloody thing. There's about a dozen marbles that are unaccounted for too.
I have seen the dog around though so that's good news.
