Driving through Esher the other day I saw a chap lording it up in the traffic in a blinged SL. As he sat there, February, roof down, shades on, fake tan, lounging in the driving seat, doing his very best ooh-look-at-me, a DB11 slid past. Completely upstaged, SL Man ignored it and carried on posing. Aston? What Aston?

Princess Senior found this on a compilation cd on the way home from Leicester; I vaguely remember it, but by jove there are some very 80's sounds in this; which met with her approval smile

By, there's some cracking stuff on there, I'm going to have a proper listen later on.

Marvellous find by Princess Senior, top work!

I need to fit a new plug to Mrs B's food mixer thing. See if I can manage to do that without cutting the whole bloody village off.

I want to take a pic of the Gaillardo Superleggera but every time I'm walking past, it's either dark or phone battery is flat.

Must try harder, before they sell it.....it's only 148K
That's a pity, it must be due a top end overhaul then. frown

Have they got a lower mileage example in stock?
Not sure if serious, ready with the parrot.

So soon.

Could I interest you in one of the new Flouncettes? They're very fashionable. Think of it as Flounce Lite - like a flounce but less harmful to the environment.

Oh. I thought it was 148 Krona. I assumed as it was so cheap it'd probably need a fair bit of work and wouldn't come with a warranty.

I just naturally assumed it was the temperature on the Kelvin Scale so about -148 degrees Celsius so was on the tram to the library to find out what a cold car is worth as opposed to a 'hot' car.

Confused from Consett.

And as I don't live there it goes to show the level of confusion.

But if you were in Consett you'd be only 95 miles from the Liquorice Mines at Pontefract.

Cambridge students complain college serves up food that 'misrepresents' their culture - Daily Telegraph

A report that TT serves up trivia that also misrepresents both Oxford and Cambridge students' culture was supressed by the Home Office on the orders of No.10. A more moderate stance taken by the Palace was over-ruled by a joint missive from MI5 and MI6.

Nice to see them getting along for once, I suppose, but do we have no influence any more with the Secret Services?

I'll have Battert read the tickertape and see if he can throw any light on it all.

And I'd wager that at least half of those students wouldn't know that liquorice is actually mined.

They don't know they're born. Or quarried.

They're neither fried, flambéed nor fricasseed.

I makes me sound interesting ,even if I'm not ,it means shiny grey.

I got the idea for the name off an old edition of Top Gear.

I've just given my orders and they did include a number 10.

Mind you looking at the place it'll probably taste like a number 1.

If in doubt ,Google translate.

It seems to be clever enough nowadays to detect language.
