How's next weekend looking at the moment? Not fussed with what we get but will be outdoors for a good chunk of it either way.

Cold, dry and cloudy for the most part, although it's too far away to be certain.

High pressure remains anchored on top of us - so we've got a blocked Atlantic, but can't get the Arctic cold in! The hope is the block either moves NE and allows an easterly wind in, or NW and lets a northerly in.

Tomorrow night looks cold though smile

Puggit all your predictions have been wrong thus far! You would make a hopeless forecaster! laugh

I'm convinced you write the weather headlines for the Express rag.

Well your recent prediction of mass snow the other week was wrong as were most of your predictions a year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago etc laugh. I suppose the saying about a broken block being right twice a day has merit here as some snow did make an appearance of a couple of occasions. tongue out

I'm quite careful how I word things - and clear when it's a chance of something happening way in the future rather than a certainty. I'd suggest it might be more that you're reading what I write wrong? Not after an argument here - if I'm misleading then I'm happy to learn and fix it! I'm certainly not doing a Nathan Rao...

By the power of greyskull how can you dare question our God Of Winter (puggit) may your testicles be struck by Thor's hammer for such insolence!

Don't blame Puggit, blame the forecasters he's parroting!

Arctic has returned to a more 'normal' temperature range, still on the 'warm' side though.

Still plenty of seriously cold air over Russia.

Plenty of snow here now! :P We've had around 3 days of it snowing at "house" level, but it's starting to become a reasonable amount now. Probably last time I open the balcony door for a while.

Yes, go for it Puggit. I don't understand much of it, but it's interesting none the less!

Puggit, as long as you don't do a Michael Fish I don't mind at all. Still better reporting than the Express!

It was -5 as the coldest on my way into work this morning. Still not a sign of snow, but the cold is nice. Had a proper frost on this morning!

As low as -2 this morning here in Horsham

But no snow, just thick ice. First time this season I've gone out to warm the car up whilst I eat my Weetabix etc.

-2 in Dublin, lovely blue skies...

The high pressure remains anchored over the British Isles, but there's plenty of bullishness that it will move away towards Greenland during mid-December and open us up to the possibility of white Xmas.

As usual, this isn't a forecast, it's what the charts are showing right now tongue out

As it's you saying this, it'll be 36 degrees and BBQ weather. A true Indian summer.
