As low as -2 this morning here in Horsham

But no snow, just thick ice. First time this season I've gone out to warm the car up whilst I eat my Weetabix etc.
Minus 5.5 on the edge of Ashdown Forest!

I have the SHOVEL and SNOW BRUSH ready - please make them work this year...

-2 in Dublin, lovely blue skies...

The high pressure remains anchored over the British Isles, but there's plenty of bullishness that it will move away towards Greenland during mid-December and open us up to the possibility of white Xmas.

As usual, this isn't a forecast, it's what the charts are showing right now tongue out

By the power of greyskull how can you dare question our God Of Winter (puggit) may your testicles be struck by Thor's hammer for such insolence!
THE STREETS WILL FLOW WITH THE BLOOD OF THE NON-BELIEVERS...unless they won't cos of an easterly blocking system, or something.

I don't have a separate snow brush, I just have an outdoor broom in the shed I guess I could use if I need to. And the brush from an old dustpan set that neatly dispatches with most of the snow on the car if I need it.

Actually, I don't anymore, that was at my old house and I haven't had enough snow since moving the brush got chucked when we moved

-11c due Friday with some flurries in Denver. Currently a balmy -4c. We've had 2 snowfalls so far this year, for a total of an inch.

I've a feeling that Jan and Feb could be quite nasty to make up for this.

Not sure of the exact temp here in Spalding, but it's been really cold and settled all day. Lots of sunshine, but there are patches of frost that haven't thawed.

Went into the conservatory at lunchtime and it was cold. Heating needs to be on when I get home. Still walking to work in normal clothes plus jumper. Not had to break the big coat out yet. smile

Puggit all your predictions have been wrong thus far! You would make a hopeless forecaster! laugh

I'm convinced you write the weather headlines for the Express rag.
You don't understand how these threads work.. Puggit and a few others post the 'best' of the possibilities from the current information (models, charts etc), everyone gets excited, conditions change, the possibilities mentioned earlier then turn out not to happen, everyone posts their disappointment and annoyance that the "big one" didn't happen, then another front comes in, repeat until about early March.. Its all quite amusing really smile

Coldest autumns since 1998 in the UK, much warmer than usual in Sweden atm. No snow where I am, but finally below zero.

10-12 degrees warmer on the north pole than normal this year and the warmest by far since the measuring started in 1979. 12 degrees.... Not good.
